Past Fundraising

Charitable work is a core value of The Girls' Brigade Ireland. Being kind and simply having an awareness of those less fortunate than us, is a valuable lesson to any young person. But the true importance of our fundraising activities, is allowing our girls to see the impact their actions can have. Girls learn that they can make a small difference to someone else's life.

Thank you to the supporters of The Girls’ Brigade Ireland for donating to our chosen charities every year. To our girls, parents, grandparents and friends – Thank you! To anyone who ever baked for a cake sale, walked the streets, sang carols or simply showed up – Thank You!

Many Girls’ Brigade Companies take part in Team Hope’s Christmas Shoebox Appeal every year. It is a fun hands on project. In fact, even our youngest members can get involved in making shoeboxes. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, Team Hope were our charity of the year for two years running.

Barnardos mission is to help transform children’s lives through their services. They support parents and challenge society where it fails our children.

We were delighted to support Barnardos in their work to support vulnerable children to reach their full potential. This is without a doubt in line with the ethos of Girls’ Brigade.
